Review: Wish You Were Mine

Wish You Were Mine Wish You Were Mine by Tara Sivec
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

This was a very emotional story and I fell in love with all the characters even Aiden. It’s a story about 3 childhood friends and how they cope with love and tragedy that is written with care and gripping to the core of all the feelings we all struggles with at times in our life; grief, sadness, love, care, anger, despair and most of all insecurities. The thing that makes me give it 4 stars is the lack of communication between the characters, I know it’s making it more interesting but for me it’s just irritating when it’s overdone, which I feel it is here.

The writing style is good with lots of dialogues (although not about the subject of matter) and no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings. The story flows well although I felt the suspense was a little drawn out but it kept me into the story all along.

The characters are well described with a lot of emotions and the internal dialogues made me able to get to know them well.

Emotional, sweet and also hot love scenes is a great bonus in this story.

If you like long suspense and sweet romance with HEA I recommend this.
