Once upon a time, I had everything: money, power, a multimillion-dollar company, a loving family. Well, at least I thought I had everything. Then my parents died, and I found out my whole life was based on a lie. That’s pretty much the moment when I went numb. When Holland and Oliver meets she doesn't know that he is her CEO and he's happy to leave it that way. But things change when he tries to help her with her job project, how will she react when she finds out the truth?
I love this story, it was sweet, hot and filled with emotions.
It's a light and fun writing style but it still has some seriousness to it. Holland and Oliver has a different childhood in some ways but in other ways they harbour the same feelings of not being wanted. Whiteout giving away to much I must say the author manages to describe Oliver's dark thoughts in a way that makes me understand and feel compassion for him.
There is some descriptions of surroundings but they're necessary for the story in my opinion, and the amount of dialogues is enough to hold my interest.
I liked that Holland is a strong confident women used to make it on her own but eventually takes the help she's offered.
This was a great 5 star ⭐️ read with lots of feelings.
