Review: A Fool For You

A Fool For You A Fool For You by Katee Robert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Publishing date: October 3th

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*

Hope goes back to Devil's Falls for a few days which ends up with a brief encounter with her ex Daniel. Daniel has never forgot her but what happens when she shows up at his doorstep six weeks later pregnant...with his child?

I liked this book a lot.
The story have enough content to not be boring and the love scenes are as always great; short but hot.

Daniel is struggling with guilty conscience after the accident that killed Hope's brother and his best friend. And the author is good at describing his inner turmoil and agony. She also describes in a very good way Hope's feelings off being left by Daniel after the accident because she's damaged goods, or so she thinks.

The author has a writing style so easygoing that i have difficulty turning off my Kindle. I get sucked in to the story and live with the characters for better or for worse........

Oh, and I love the little peek of Aubry and Quinn, snarky Aubry is so fun.

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*

Sam is trying to make her dead fathers dream come true by building a resort in the mountains but one person is not willing to sell a part of his land and that is postponing her plans. When she drives up to meat this person she meets Austin and connects with him. Of course he is the person she seeks........

I liked this book a lot, actually so much I don't have anything to complain about. But that's disturbing because I can't explain why I didn't get that special feeling I get with only a few books that makes me say "amen". Anyway it was a excellent book!!!!!

This is a story about leaving the past behind and stepping in to the future.
Both main characters are lingering in the past and throughout the book the author brings them to the future in an excellent way.

I thought the storyline was good and the characters were described well.
There were som of the love scenes that were extra hot, specially one in a shed in the woods;-)

The writing style was very easy and it made the reading experience good. I give it a good 4,5 stars.

Review: Club Trega

Club Trega Club Trega by Nicole Wood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*

This was a little weird book but I liked it, and I think what bothered me was that it was so messy in the beginning. I recommend that if you start reading it don't give up stay on the path, the story will evolve and grow on you like it did with me.

Three broken souls finds together and tries to work out a life where they can be a unit. This is not a norm in the society so they meet challenges both amongst their families and elsewhere. I think this story addressed the topic of a triad on a more real level then other more romantically stories and I actually liked that.

When a tragedy happens and everything changes for the three persons in a relationship it challenges them in many ways. Some people like to have control of their lives and the lives of the peoples they love, it's not always possible because unexpected things happen and it can make a chain reaction.

I think this book takes up something that's important in BDMS relationships in any form and that's trust an communication. I liked how the author described the challenges the characters met and how they handled them. Even if I didn't agree in all of it that's just a personal opinion, I still try to have a open mind when I read a book.

I liked the writing style once I got used to it. I felt like I got to know the characters so the feelings in the book came out very well. And there are some really hot love scenes in there. They steamed up my glasses:-)

I recommend this book for those who like to read romantic, BDMS, erotic and a little more realistic books. It was a 4.5 stars read.

Review: On Dublin Street

On Dublin Street On Dublin Street by Samantha Young
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Soul wrenching story

Joss has run away from her past and looks for a new roommate. She happens to find one but she seems to have a very hot brother Braden which Joss already had a short run in with.

I loved this book so much and Braden is a alpha male in all his glory....... He can compete with Gideon Cross and Christian Grey.

This is a story about how a person can learn to only depend on oneself because you're left alone with no one to care for you. When you get used to depending on yourself it's hard to let anyone else in and care for you.

The story is so soul wrenching, it's like someone took a knife to my soul and opened it up. I felt so close to the characters it was almost scary.

All the anxiety and feelings Joss is struggling with comes very close in the way the author describes it, if you never had a anxiety attack before you will be closer to understand how it is by reading this book. Because I know what it's like to have anxiety attacks I feel very connected to the character.

I love the writing style because it's light and fun without messing with the serious issues in the story. I laughed, scowled and cried of this book.

*“I want this. I want our arrangement. I want you …” I sucked in a breath, feeling my control slip.” … to fuck it out of me.” “Fuck what out, Jocelyn?” Couldn’t he see it? Was my mask really that good? I shrugged. “All the nothing.”*

This author is now on my list of favourites. If you haven't read this one I recommend it strongly.

Review: Out in the Open

Out in the Open Out in the Open by A.J. Truman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Good and educational

I liked this book and recommend it for all who likes fun, hot and a little serious books. 4,5 stars.

I love how Ethan is trying not to like Greg but can't resist him, they goes from unfriendly to friends with benefits.

The writing style is lovely, so fun and quick dialogues. Very easy to read and hard to put down.

I felt so sad for Ethan who's in reality a lonely weird guy trying to make friends and then he falls in love with a guy way in to the closet.

This book is a learning lesson in the subject of if you want to form a relationship with others you need to open up and communicate. And that's a learning progress because when your young you are still in the progress of finding out who you are. I think this book was a excellent example of how you grow and become another person when interacting with different persons. Both in good and bad ways.

Salted Caramel Salted Caramel by Morgan Shaw
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Much drama

I liked the book, but I could have loved it if it didn't feel like the author tried to fill it with to much drama, the characters had to many issues for my liking.
But the book was sweet and the storyline in itself was good and the characters was described okay.
The writing style is easy so the story was quick to read.
It's a 3,5 stars but I'm marking it at 4 because even though I'm not all over the top for this book maybe others are.

Fool Me Once Fool Me Once by Katee Robert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Snarky girl and hot cowboy

Aubry is a geek and not social, Quinn is a cowboy with a normal social life. The strike a deal to benefit them both, but how will it go when sexual chemistry sizzles between them?

I loved this story especially Aubry's snarky comments and Quinn's come backs at her. The author has a writing style that makes this book easy to enjoy, light and funny.

The characters are well written and I feel like I get to know them well throughout the story.

The love scenes was great and a perfect amount of them, not to many and not to few.

If you like a story with fun, hot scenes and some seriousness this is perfect.

Review: Finding Anna: Books 1-4

Finding Anna: Books 1-4 Finding Anna: Books 1-4 by Sherri Hayes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really thought this book was going to be mostly sexual but too my pleasant surprise it was also much about how the human mind is unique. Recommend this book very much, and for you out there who likes the sexual aspect; it's there too.
This series is one of the best I've read. Anna is a slave to a brutal man and Stephan gets a tips from a friend about her situation. I'm not going to reveal to much but he helps her overcome her emotional and physical scars. He helps her regain her self esteem and also learn her to enjoy a physical relationship with a man.
Although he is a dominant he does what's best for Anna considering what she's been through. From being used to someone telling her what to do and not allowed to think of her own she becomes a woman with feelings and thoughts of here own again with Stephans help. And the progress is interesting to read about and gives a good insight in the BDSM relationships and how important communication and trust is.
I recommend this book for everyone who likes reading erotic, alfa men, romance and BDSM.

Thresh ❤️

Omg, what a wonderful, painful, sweet, action filled book. I love Thresh💕, I want to take him home and climb him like a tree.

I was expecting much, I always do from this author, and I got it. This book is filled with emotions, psychological hang ups, love and fear. Lola has a lot of issues after som horrible experience and Thresh has a childhood filled with violence. This two scared souls finds together and makes life changing choices and experiences.

The writing style of this author never ceases to amaze me, I'm living in the book from beginning to the end.

The characters are vividly described and I feel their pain, love, confusion and all the other feelings the have.

And the love scenes........ohlalala I couldn't ask for more feelings in any way. The way they give each other comfort is soul wrecking.

Can't wait for Duke's story❤️

Review: Just a Bit Ruthless

Just a Bit Ruthless Just a Bit Ruthless by Alessandra Hazard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Yes, a bit ruthless

Luke wants to show his father that he can be an asset to the firm and shows up at a meeting with a Russian billionaire whiteout his fathers knowledge. The billionaire Roman holds him captured and although Luke should be mad he finds himself attracted to the handsome man.

I liked this book very much but I probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't used word that was humiliating. Even though I know in this story the person didn't mind it I don't like that. And to be fair it was the only thing that made me give this book 4 stars.

On the other hand, the storyline is great and the characters are well written, Luke's need for someone to take care of him and make him feel safe and Roman's need to be in control is described in a wonderful way.

The author has a unique way of getting me to disappear in the story so sometimes I forget all else and read for hours. To bad it's the last book so fare, I'm definitely buying more if they come out.

Warning; explicit m/m love scenes, violence, adult content.

RELEASE DAY; Overexposed excerpt

For a moment, we locked eyes, and the air between us crackled with the promise of what could come next if we let it. I didn’t breathe—didn’t move—because this rubber band tugging at us could snap any minute, and I had no idea which way it would go.
Thad’s jaw clenched, then his hand shot out and gripped the side of my head. I sucked in a breath as he pulled me toward him. The heat of his palm seared my scalp as he closed the distance until our mouths were inches away. The tent was filled with panted breaths, pounding hearts, and every cell in my body was screaming want want want

I licked my lips, the very tip of my tongue brushing his, and that was the last encouragement he needed, because then Thad slammed his mouth onto mine. His body crashed along with it, so my back slammed onto the ground and Thad landed on top.
But I didn’t care about any of that, because Thad was devouring me. His mouth moved against mine, opening me up, demanding to be let in, and I obliged. Thad swept his tongue inside, kissing me like he couldn’t get enough, would never get enough, like kissing me was better than breathing.
Kissing Thad was better than breathing.
I held on as best as I could, clutching his broad shoulders, the muscles shifting beneath his skin. With his knees, he spread my legs and slotted himself between them, grinding his hard cock against mine.
It was a frenzy of tongues and lips and saliva and good, hard, need-you-now kind of sex. Thad broke the kiss to suck hard on the skin along my jaw, and I arched beneath him as he hit the spot below my ear that always got me going.
My cock was achingly hard, my balls already drawn up tight, but I needed something more. Thad’s hands fumbled between us until my boxers were shoved down. A fist wrapped around both of our cocks and began stroking them together.
My brain short-circuited, my lungs screamed for air as I gasped at the firm grip. Thad wasn’t fucking around. This was down and dirty and about getting off on each other.
My hips churned with each stroke of Thad’s hand; his hip bones dug into my inner thighs as each stroke shoved my legs further apart. I had no time to imagine what we looked like, what we sounded like, because Thad bit down on my shoulder, hard, and I came like a fucking rocket. I couldn’t even cry out, as I pulsed soundlessly in his hand. His hips froze on one more powerful thrust, sending my head smashing into the side of the tent, and then he let out one small groan against my skin.
I squeezed my eyes shut, relinquishing my grip on Thad’s shoulders, belatedly noticing my nails had etched crescent-shaped marks in his flesh.
He rose off of me slowly, his eyes skittering away, not meeting mine. He grabbed my pack of wipes, and cleaned himself, then me, wordlessly. I bit my lip, unsure what to say. What did one say when they were dry-humped in the middle of the night by a man who spoke in sentence fragments?
Nothing apparently. Because Thad rose, pulled on a pair of pants and a shirt, and with one last look at me, left the tent.
Without a word.

Review: Just a Bit Confusing

Just a Bit Confusing Just a Bit Confusing by Alessandra Hazard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Best book in the series

Jamie has a crush on his best friend but Ryan is straight. He try's to have boyfriends to forget his crush but he can't help feeling what he feels. What will happen if he tells Ryan how he feels?

What a emotionally roller coaster of a book, I'm in love with Jamie. I want to keep him, cuddle with him and comfort him because I feel so bad for him.
Big warning; maybe I'm sappy but I cried a lot reading this book, Jamie's hopeless feelings for Ryan was described in such a beautiful and raw way that it make my heart bleed for him.

Your thoughts are a weird thing, they can get set in a way that makes you believe the thought your thinking is true, but is it the truth forever?

{It’s wrong and weird only for as long as you let it be.}

This book for me was the most emotional one in this series so fare. I only have one book left.

I just get lost in these books, the writing style is so easygoing and full of emotions.
If I should make one negative note about this book it's that the love scenes was not entirely as good as in the other books. But because of the storyline in itself and the other content of the book, I loved it the most.

Warning: explicit m/m love scenes, adult content.

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*

This is the fourth book in a series but it can be read as a standalone.

I love this beautiful story!

Levi is hiking the Appalachian trail in honour of his dead sister, and on this hike he meets Thad. Thad is not very good at communicating but will Levi be able to get him to open up an reveal what he's like under the surface?

I'm in love with the In Focus series, and this one is no exception, it's a beautiful story about loss, trust and betrayal.
The secrets about Thad is revealed throughout the book excellently and I'm biting nails and cursing. I want to know but at the same time I'm afraid of what it is.

The book left me a crying mess because the author has a way of writing that hits me right in my heart. She's writing so honest and raw and the writing style is so easy to read with lots of dialogues and I love that.

I'm having a GIVEAWAY with this book so click the link.

Feelings all over

Tristan is a injured star player on a English top club. He demands a top physiotherapist and gets Zachary. He hates him but he wants to jump him for other reasons too. Will they manage to work together without anything happening?

Another great story with a lot of feelings and good love scenes, maybe the storyline could have been better but I liked the story anyway. And in the end it was a little surprise turn.

Although the story has a lot of hot scenes it's also a emotional story about a boy growing up seeking confirmation and love. When it comes along it's not easy for him to recognise.

The author has a writing style that pulls me in and makes the book hard to put down. The characters are coming alive and the words hold true meaning to me.

Warning: Adult content and explicit m/m love scenes.

All-consuming love

Gabriel is a star player of an English top club with a girlfriend and seemingly the perfect life. But he is clinging to his physiotherapist Jared like a lovesick boy, why is that? Jared is gay and he's not, is he?

I loved this book but I would have liked it even more if Gabriel didn't take so long to acknowledge his true self.

I thought Gabriel was selfish in the beginning, and he is but I think there are reasons for his selfishness that goes way back.
I think the storyline was good and the characters are described in a way that make me feel like I know them.

The authors style of writing holds me captivated through the story and I actually don't want it to end, at the same time I'm hoping for a happy ending soon.

{Jared closed his eyes and wondered if this was how it felt to be between heaven and hell.}

This is a story about denying your true self out of fear of your own feelings.

Honest and emotional

Christian is invited to a participate in sex with Mila and Alexander. Christian has had a crush on Alexander for a long time, but Alexander is straight. How will he manage to keep his control when he sees Alexander naked?

Oh, I forgot how good this book was. All the emotions are described in a raw sensual way. The writing style dragging me in to the story.

I find that some of the words hit me straight in my heart and soul:
{Sometimes love isn’t pretty. It’s not neat, and it’s not textbook perfect. There’s no template for love. Sometimes it’s dirty. Sometimes it’s a bit creepy. And sometimes it hurts.}

I love this book and I'm sure you will too if you like m/m explicit love scenes and lots of emotions in a good storyline.

Sweet

The author has a way with words that makes me fall in love with this two characters. I loved Shawn's direct approach to Derek at times. And Derek was a real grumpy but soft guy underneath it all. The description of the characters was very well done.
The storyline was good and the love scenes was as great as ever.

Hot gay story

I like the writing style of this author, it's easy to read with not to much unnecessary words.
The story was short and rough but you can read the emotions between the lines.
Since I've read the story once before I was wondering if it was as good as the last time and it was.
Only thing lacking was a little more sweetness between the main characters but than again this probably wasn't meant to be a sweet book.
I recommend this book if you like rough and dirty m/m adult content.

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*

Hunter is undercover and works as a bodyguard for Will who is a member of a criminal family. The family is falling apart after a big fire that kills most of them.

The description of the characters are there but not enough for me to make a clear picture in my mind. Somethings missing, but that could be on my part, although I know I can connect to the characters if they are described with a more....eh..should I call it colourful language. But still, I love the relationship that's building between Hunter and Will, I'm cheering for them.

The storyline is good and easy to follow, a little action is also great and makes the book even more interesting. I like the writing style but I think the story goes slowly forward at times and I get impatient . Again that's just me being impatient.

The only thing missing for me to give it 5 stars is that I don't get that special feeling, but it's a very strong 4 stars. And I do recommend reading it.

All in all this is a good book and I could easy read more from this author.

What a great story, short and very hot.

I enjoyed the story very much, just the right amount of hot love scenes and well written characters. It didn't have very much content outside the love scenes but that's okay for a short story.

I liked the writing style of this author, it was easygoing but still swiped through some serious topics. The chemistry between Piper and Ace was coming through in every sentence. And the dialogues between Piper and Ace was fun, hot and intriguing.

I would definitely love to read more from this author.

I love this book!
Ten pages in to the book I thought "oh, how I love a fun, sexually charged book", and this book was full of fun and sexiness from first paige.

The big bonus was a women with curves because sometimes I get sick of reading about the "perfect model thin" women.

Harper is full of humour and very caring, Dex is sweet and honest. As they try to have a casual affair the feelings comes creeping.......
I smiled for most of the book but cried at the end. I felt the story reaching out to me because the author seems to have pinpointed all my thoughts and insecurities about my own body.

If I should have wished for something more in this book it must have been more revenge acts towards Harper's stepbrother and stepmother. But the once that were there was soooooo deliciously cruel. Hey, I'm just human!

And the hotness in this book is at the top level, it leaves you exited and blushing. If you don't like to read explicit sexual scenes you shouldn't bother reading.

Abby is on a airplane ready for takeoff when Gage takes a seat next to her on the almost empty first class section. When they hit som heavy turbulence she grasp Gage's arm and this is the start of a connection, but where will it end.

I liked the book, but I didn't love it.

I liked reading this book but it didn't speak to me in the same way some books do when I read them. It could have been the writing style that I thought was a little wobbly if I can say that....... Sometimes I felt that it was great but other times it bored me.

However I think the characters was described in a very good way and the overall impression of the book was good enough to give it a 4 star even if it's a weak one.
There was a lot of feelings described in this book but the description wasn't enough to reach out to my heart and give it to me in a way that moved me.

If anything made a very good impression it was the love scenes.

Too Wild to Tame Too Wild to Tame by Tessa Bailey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Burning hot

The second book in Romancing the Clarkson series, it can be read as a standalone but I recommend you read the first book (Too Hot to Handle) to get a better feeling of the characters.

I love Miriam Clarkson's words in the beginning of the book❤️ and I really liked this book, not so much as the first but it's still good.

I could maybe have enjoyed it more if I didn't feel like it was a little chaotic, I didn't always manage to follow the meaning of the sentences and I felt a little distance from the main characters in the beginning, I couldn't get a grip on Grace and I missed more dialogues, but that's because I like dialogues. But I felt like I got a good understanding of the characters about 30 % in to the book and from there on it just got better.
I loved how the author made Grace get Aaron question his own perception on himself.

The more intimate scenes however were a bonfire that should have been delivered with a warning!!!!!
Tessa Bailey knows how to write scenes that makes the reader blush and squirm in their chairs. And crying, so much crying in the end, prepare for that.

I recommend this book for everyone loving a sexy love story, it's a strong 4 star read.

As a real teaser the author leaves small snippets of Belmont and Sage to jag your imagination.

Rattled my mind

This book made me feel so much.
I was irritated at Addison because she seems so selfish in the beginning.
I was intrigued by Greyson because he was really trying to resist the temptation.
I felt sad, happy, exited...........because of so many happenings in this story.

The writing style is straight forward but still makes me wonder where this is leading sometimes.

This book is a mystery and so mind rattling, the lovemaking in this book is epic and the symbolism is making my mind spin.

Sometimes I wanted to scream at the characters because they didn't reveal what was going on, just made little hints.

I loved and hated this book, but like chocolate I wouldn't be without it.

This book will stay with me for a long time.

Dark and beautiful!

The second book in Kick series and I started in the wrong end because I've read the third already. But it can be read as a standalone so here we go.........
Oh, and get your handkerchief out because there will be tears!

Sawyer is temporary employed at Kick adventures for two months. The main reason he accepted the employment is his interest in Asher, one of the owners.

This was a dark story but as usual full of feelings. I cried for Sawyer and all his cravings and I loved Asher and his harsh but tender affection.
Sawyer is scared both on the inside and on the outside, he carries so much of his past with him that's revealed throughout the story.
Asher have his own personal struggles to deal with and their both drawn to each other even if they don't want to.

The authors colourful writing is something that draws me in to the story and I've filled my copy with notes. Some of the sentences pops out and reach in to my soul:

{“I thought you liked pain,” Sawyer mumbled in an attempt to deflect. He didn’t have it in him to pull away, but he could still throw barbs. “What do you think I’m holding?” The whispered question fluttered down his neck and burned into his already aching heart. My pain. Warmth spread in a jumble of angry defiance and longing he couldn’t acknowledge.}

This book is not for fragile souls so if you can't take brutal honesty, raw emotions and actions you should leave it alone.
But if you are can see trough the darkness and find the light and the beautiful things in there, you should absolutely read this book.

Third book about Danielle and Jack and from the first chapter it's promising, the story is a good ending to the couples journey.
In the first book I didn't get to know the characters so well but now I really feel like I know them.
Danielle is afraid of letting anyone in and Jack is is unsure of his career path so they both struggle with their feelings towards one another.
The author has a way of writing that draws me in and I disappear inside the story and that's basically all I need in a book to satisfy me.
I'm not a big fan of series you HAVE to read in order but I recommend this one because it's sooooo good.

Review: Royal Savage

Royal Savage Royal Savage by Victoria Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rough, dark and sweet

Avalon is dating Colton, but one night she meets Royal and is drawn to him. What she don't know is that the two men are brothers. Let's just say that the feelings between the two brothers aren't friendly. How will Avalon solve this challenge?

This story is rough and dark but at the same time it is sweet. The writing is direct and with no unnecessary chatter about the surroundings in details. Simple but affective.
But the feelings in this book are described in a way that makes you feel a lot of things; sad, happy, angry, scared, anxious.......oh, the list is long.

I think the author has done an excellent job in revealing Royal's past throughout the story, it's making me want to know but at the same time I'm scared to know it. And I love all this characters and I hope to read about Blaine, Madison and Jax story sometime.

If you like it rough and dark but also sweet this is a story for you.

Normally I don't pay much attention to the change to a new chapter but this is actually very visible in this book and it pops out every time you turn a page and there's a new chapter presented. I know this have nothing to do with the story but I find the layout very fitting to contest. Just saying....

Review: Lot # 165: A Romantic Short Story

Lot # 165: A Romantic Short Story Lot # 165: A Romantic Short Story by Rebecca Milton
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Weird story

Kels auctions her self out and a writer buy her. Alex is kind and unorganised.

It started promising but I felt that the story was jumping forward in big leaps. I didn't get to know the characters good at all. I couldn't sense that there were feelings behind the story. It was short and that's okay but it felt clinical, removed of all the essentials that makes a good story.
I'm sorry but this book was not my kind of book.
