Review: Knocked Out By love

Knocked Out By love Knocked Out By love by Abby Niles
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Brody is a MMA fighter who's being pushed out by younger competition and he's been pining for his best friends wife for years. Scarlett is now separated from her husband and is looking for some flirting and trying to rise her self esteem.
While on a resort for his sisters wedding they meet and feelings surfaces.
I loved the story, it was sweet and hot.
The writing style is easy and light with good build up to the essential scenes. However I thought some of the more erotic scenes was a little amputated, it was like I were left with a feeling of unaccomplished climaxes.
There was a lot of feelings described in the more sensitive scenes and I loved them.
All in all I liked the book.
This is the fourth book in a series but I believe it can be read as a standalone.

The Navy SEAL's E-Mail Order Bride The Navy SEAL's E-Mail Order Bride by Cora Seton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

www wedding

Regan answer a ad on YouTube from Mason who wants a wife and baby to save his and his brothers ranch.
Regan is sweet but with a good head on her shoulders and Mason is a former SEAL with a very good heart.
I liked this book very much, the story was great and the writing style is easy and fun. I did get som good laugh out of this book and it contained some hot scenes so it was exiting too.
There was a lot of characters and I loved how the author described the interaction between them.
Of course I'm going to read about the remaining brothers hunt for their wife's.
I recommend this book if you want a easy, fun, exiting book to read.
This is a series but can be read as a standalone, fair warning though; your going to want to read the rest of the books.

Review: The Cowboy's E-Mail Order Bride

The Cowboy's E-Mail Order Bride The Cowboy's E-Mail Order Bride by Cora Seton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fun, hot and intriguing

Autumn arrives in Montana to be Ethan's bride but they both have done some lying.
I think the story was sweet and it was easy to read. The characters were great described, I have to read the next because of the way it's hinted in the book about the other characters possibilities to have a happy ending.
There is some hot scenes in this book but nothing over the top.
In other words; I recommend you read it, it's a series but you can read it as a standalone.

Review: The Cowboy Inherits a Bride

The Cowboy Inherits a Bride The Cowboy Inherits a Bride by Cora Seton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good

Sunshine inherits a building after a aunt but it turns out she's sharing it with a sexy cowboy named Cole.
This was a short sweet, hot story with a introduction to the characters to come in the next books in this series.
Sunshine is sweet and stubborn and Cole is tough and grumpy but they warm up to each other.
The writing style is easy an fun so the book took literally no time to read. It's no cliffhanger so it can be read as a standalone.

Review: Tough and Tender

Tough and Tender Tough and Tender by Dez Burke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good entertainment

The first three books about Steel Infidels motorcycle club was a great read, sweet, rough and exiting. The books are centred around 3 brothers and their relationships. Two of them find love and now I have to read about the third brother because that book was not in there.

SKIN DEEP was a sweet story about a man who hires a actress to play his girlfriend. The story was good and easy to read, and maybe a little cliché but I still enjoyed it. Well worth the read. If I should point to something that I didn't enjoy so much it's that the erotic scenes was described in a way that wasn't fully to my liking. But that's just my opinion.

GENTS 4 LADIES was a fun and exiting book. Tiana hires an escort without knowing that he's not really an escort but a guy that's been pranked. Jordan is curious to way a woman would hire a escort and pretend to be what she wants.
This was a really sweet story with very good described characters and a playful writing style. Tiana and Jordan are so sweet and have such a connection that I felt it with them.
".......all I really wanted to do was place my heart at your feet and plead with you not to walk all over it.” The sentence made me swoon, and so did much of this book.

TRAPPED INTO MARRIAGE
Keyonna's boyfriend whom she haven't heard from in a long time while he's been away returns and want her to marry him. He won't take no for an answer so she kisses Nick to prove that she means no. But the kiss leads to so much more.
It was a sweet, fun and hot story and as the other story's it was a great read.

CLAIMED BY THE MARINE
Anna was left by her fiancé right before their wedding and is out with her friends to have a good time when she's meeting Hawk. Not like her usual self she goes home with him and have the night of her life. She assume it's a one-night stand and doesn't know her friends asked Hawk to boost her confidence by showing her a good time. But Hawk wants more.
This was sweet and short and I liked it.

CAPTURED BY THE BODYGUARD
Alexandra's father demands she have a bodyguard and when he hires Cane she is furious, but that soon turns out to more then any of them can handle.
The story was sweet, exiting and full of emotions. The suspense is very presence and maybe to long but still it's a good read.

BURNED BY PASSION
Blake is returning to USA to see his father after 18 years living in England with his mother. He meets his fathers secretary Kira and there is a instant connection.
The story is good and sweet and hot. Some really hot scenes .

FORBIDDEN LOVE WITH THE MARINE
Olivia and Ivan have grown up together and now Olivia have strong feelings for Ivan who is in denial because he's afraid of what her father may think.
The story was a little messy but some hot scenes made up for that. The one thing lacking was they coming clean with her parents, which I thought was essential for the story. But again a entertaining read.

CAPTIVATED BY THE SOLDIER
Makayla comes home from a trip to find a hunk of a man sleeping in her bed. It turns out to be her roommates step brother Blade. He wakes up and think he's seeing an angel. But there's challenges in their future.
Good read and hot scenes.

This author is on my list now for more reads.

Review: Strictly My Husband: It's funny, it's romantic and it's got dancing - what's not to love!

Strictly My Husband: It's funny, it's romantic and it's got dancing - what's not to love! Strictly My Husband: It's funny, it's romantic and it's got dancing - what's not to love! by Tracy Bloom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*
Laura can't dance but she loves it when her husband Tom are dancing with her in the kitchen late at night and nobody is there to see. But one day Tom comes home with an unexpected houseguest.
The story is interesting and funny but also sad because I think reading this book will get you to reflect on your own marriage/relationship and that can be scary. We can all use a reflection upon our relationship even if it's something we don't like to do. And there is a secondary story of Hannah and Jerry who's marriage is to say the least, a disaster. That could easily have made a new book.
I must admit that I thought there was to much focus on the play Tom is managing in the beginning but at the end of the book I could see how it was essential for the context of the story.
Tom seems like a weak man with no backbone but as I got further in to the book I realised that he's just like most man - they really don't know what women wants. Laura isn't helping by not communicating what she want, and she's like most women - we think our man can read minds.
This book is written in a fun, easy way so it was a joy to read it. I liked this book very much and I'm discussing with my self if it's a 4 or 5 star, but because I really like for people to read this book I will give it a 5- and hope others will enjoy it too.

Dark Domination Dark Domination by Lili Valente
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rough and beautiful

Hannah is mistaken for her dead twin sister and is bought for a month by her sisters boyfriend who was betrayed by her sister.
This book was to short and I absolutely have to read the rest of this series.
The story is exiting and hot as hell, I disappear in this book so it's a definite good read. The writing style is so great, easy to read and with just enough emotions to keep me interested.
If you like cliffhangers this is a gooooooood one.

Break Me Like A Promise Break Me Like A Promise by Aria Grace
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Great book with lots of feelings

This book has a lot of characters but I think the main characters are Luke and Brent because theirs a love story. This is first book in a series so there's more to look forward to.
The story is good and I like the writing style, it's easy and full of feelings. Still I lacked the feeling of getting sucked in to the book like I do with some books.
It's a good read and I will read the others in this series.

Review: Hands On

Hands On Hands On by Cathryn Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*
Danielle is a therapist and starting with teaching a summer class, but the subject she's teaching is sex. She have no experience so she asks Jack her old high school crush to help her.
This was a hot, hot, hot story and just a beginning of a series. I really liked it, but it was mostly a teaser.
The writing style of this author is easy and fun and I enjoyed so much reading about the first experience Danielle has with Jack's help. I find it a bit difficult to write a review since its a short story and I didn't get so much feelings for the characters but what I can say is that Danielle is a shy girl with no experience when it comes to guys and Jack is more of a love them and leave them guy.
I would definitely want to read the next book because this seems promising.

Review: Worked Up

Worked Up Worked Up by Tessa Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5

Publishing date August 1
Duke and Samantha story could have been a cliché about a fake marriage, but Tessa makes it in to so much more.
I'm amazed by how Samantha's fantasy works, she sees pictures in her head and have a colourful imagination. I love the description of how her brain takes over and transfer what she sees to vivid pictures. Most of all I love it because in my head I also see pictures and I always thought I was a little crazy and almost never meet any one else with a mind like that. And I wish I could transfer it on paper like Sam does.
I feel that Samantha's has a slightly introvert personality, and her jokes or should I call them pun....omg I adore them. I think she became my favourite Tessa character after 10 pages.
Duke....what can I say about him.......He's the person giving and giving and not demanding anything for himself until he can't help claim Sam for himself. And the struggles he has with accepting that he deserves her is so heartbreaking. And omg.... Tessa's description of him makes me want to find him and snuggle up beside him wherever he is. Oh, and to describe him don't forget presumptuous(I'm actually giggling while writing)and of course #PMB
This is now my favourite Tessa couple, I'm a certified Tessa Bailey fan and after reading all of her books I'm never disappointed which amazes me.
As always Tessa Bailey delivers, she has a writing style I just doesn't get tired off, it's light, colourful and fun and full of feelings. Her books leave me in a book hangover every time, I have difficulty starting a new book after reading her books because they lingers in my head and heart for a long time.

Review: Pretending He's You

Pretending He's You Pretending He's You by Stacey Mosteller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Even more frustrated

Olivia has a boyfriend but have strong feelings for her brothers friends Tyler. They spend some time together while she and her boyfriend Emmett are on a break.
I must stop reading books about immature young people, I just get annoyed by reading it.
The story is good and I like the writing style of this author so the book is easy to read, even though I had to put it down sometimes because I wanted to slap Olivia.
After finishing this book I was more frustrated than I ever been and I don't even know if I want to read the concluding book.
But that's me.

Review: Everything I Need

Everything I Need Everything I Need by Stacey Mosteller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Growing up is hard

SB is pregnant and Jeremy don't know about it. The situation is difficult and SB and Jeremy is not communicating.
This book is also a little frustrating and I don't know if it's me or the reason their not communicating that leaves me with this feelings.
In the beginning of the book I thought SB has grown up because she actually behaves as an adult and that's nice. But they just keeps complicating things all the time.
Don't misunderstand; I like the book and I even cried at one time but still there are some small things as I said that makes it not quite at the top of my list. But it's a 4 star read.

Review: Everything I Shouldn't

Everything I Shouldn't Everything I Shouldn't by Stacey Mosteller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good but irritating book

SarahBet is in love with her brothers best friend Jeremy and they start a relationship. But her brother doesn't know.
Through out the book I'm irritated at SB for acting childish and not wanting to tell her brother about their relationship, that makes enjoying the book difficult. That been said, the story is good and I like the writing style so it's a easy read.
There are some very good erotic scenes in this book and I feel with the characters.
I feel so sorry for Jeremy and at the same time I'm irritated at him for going along with SB idea of not telling her brother about them. I actually was irritated a lot reading this book so it only get 4 stars from me.

Review: His Lover to Protect

His Lover to Protect His Lover to Protect by Katee Robert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Alexis and Luke are both scarred, one on the inside and the other on the outside. Luke has been asked to look out for he's friend sister in law. They connect despite their bickering.
The story was soooo good and the characters was coming alive for me. I love the dirty talk in the erotic scenes, and there were plenty of those.
This is actually my favourite book by this author so fare.
There was so many things to love, the Juliet wall, the trip to Norway and Preikestolen(that was a big surprise because I'm from Norway), Venice and how Luke did turn out to be a romantic guy.
I did cry at this book and that's a sign for me that this is a 5 star read. Thank you so much Katee Robert.

Fast Connection Fast Connection by Megan Erickson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Crying like a baby

Dominic is home again after 8 years in the army and want to explore he's gay side of bi. Luke only want one night with guys to not get emotional attached. Well, that turned out great.....

The story is strong and believable and I got sucked in finishing the first chapter. The writing style is so easy but with still enough weight that you get the serious message in the story.

I love Luke's grumpy attitude and Dominic's funny attempts to get to him, and he's not backing down for the grumpy Luke face.

Those two are now my favourite guys in the book world and the were described with so much passion and feelings that they came alive, I want to know them, I want to be their friend and get a peek at how their life is going in the future.

This is truly a story to disappear in and with so much feelings I was destined to cry, and I did. Thank you so much and I'm going to keep pre-order your books.

Avery and Drew have been best friends forever, all that chances when they have sex.
I thought the story was very sweet and it could have been really sad but the author writing style makes it light and fun. The characters are well described and since they appeared in the other books first I felt like I knew them and was hoping to get their story.
As always the author doesn't disappoint but give me a good time reading.

Sweet sweet Aaron
Marcy have a daughter that takes up all of her time, she don't think she can include a man in her life.....well that's until Aaron, her best friends brother finally gets to her in a way she never could imagine.
The story is short, sweet and hot. I loved the way Aaron is described as a real protector and never wavers from it.
It's the sort of story that can be read in a day if you just want to forget about the world around you and settle in a chair with a cup of tea and some reading. It's heartwarming.

His Fantasy Bride His Fantasy Bride by Nina Croft
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.
I must say I was a little disappointed because I had high expectations for this book.
Gabby runs the day before her wedding with Vito. He doesn't come after her but after a accident he decides to find her.
The storyline is actually very good but for me the writing style didn't do the story justice. It could be just me and my preferences.
The characters are well described, but I didn't get the feeling to know them as I would have liked too. Again maybe it's just me or the writing style, or maybe it's because the descriptions of the characters isn't colourful enough.
There are sexy scenes in this book and they were good, so if you like a sweet story with some hot scenes and a happy ending that's easy to read maybe this one is for you.

Master of Freedom Master of Freedom by Cherise Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Virginia is working in a prison where Atticus brother is a inmate. Gin and Atticus meet when she helps him demonstrate rope play one evening.
I think this was the sweetest of all of Sinclair's books. All the feelings in this book made me cry. At the same time I think this is one of the books that has the least amount of sex scenes, still I loved the book.
The author is a genius in writing so I can't stop reading, the style is so light and still hold my interest with topics that are not light, like psychology.
The book was exiting, fun, and full of emotions.
I love every one of her books and I think this is one of my favourites.

Swooning
Lindsey and Zander, what a great story. Zander don't trust women after his ex-wife robbed him and left him. Lindsey is on the run from murder charge and find it difficult to trust anyone.

The story is sweet, exiting and hot, hot, hot. I love the characters with all their issues, and the writing style of Sinclair is a joy ride.
ALWAYS when I start one of her books I know I'm in for a treat and I won't be able to put the book away. I've read some of her books more than one time and I'm probably going to read them maaaaany times more.
If you're in to reading about BDMS and Alfa males this is a guaranteed good read.

Review: My Liege of Dark Haven

My Liege of Dark Haven My Liege of Dark Haven by Cherise Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Abby is a professor and is used to have control and is coming out of a relationship where she refused to be a submissive. She is only at Dark Haven for observation. Xavier is a Dom still not ready to commit after losing his wife but cant help being drawn to Abby.
The story is so great and have so much feelings, I cried and laughed and of course I got excited because this author never fails in making good really hot scenes. She masters the challenge of both making a good story and giving you enough erotic scenes that you don't ever get bored.
I loved how Xavier plucked away Abby's insecurities about her body. If I should mention something it's that her "revenge" on her sister should have been more severe.
It feels like I live in the book so again I disappear in one of Sinclair's books and I love it.
Big fat 5 stars.

Fun and weird
A man who's obviously has lost a love(in what way I still don't know) isn't getting it up and a women tries to help.
The story was fine and the characters are okay, but I felt it lacked more background described and it was a little shallow for my taste. That's my taste but for someone else it might be the right one. I like a little more to the story and I find that this book was not fulfilling to my needs in a read.
It's a book, and it was easy to read so feel free to read.

The Man on Top of the World The Man on Top of the World by Vanessa Clark (V.C.)
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*
Johnny have a crush on the rockstar in the band his playing drums, but everyone else also has a crush on him. Can he ever be his?

I felt like I was dropped in a dirty movie because it started out with a blow job and I kept on in a sensual writing that made me exited but also embarrassed. I don't know what's with this book, I've read hundreds of books hotter then hell, but this one made me blush. Maybe it's the writing style or the feeling of honesty in the story. Well, it's set to the 70's so I guess I should have expected "peace and love".

I loved how the playfulness between Izzy and Johnny are present but still doesn't take away from the serious subjects in the book. But I'm crying for Johnny halfway through the book.

This book was amazing, frustrating, fun, sad, and a hell of a lot more, but most of all it got me reflecting on life and how different it is for each of us. I've never met a transgender person, I'm living in my little bubble while those characters lives vigorously and fully with all its madness, happiness and sadnesses.

Even with all the frivolity in the 70's they still couldn't openly love each other. Oh, how I cried at the end of the book.

The writing style is so easy and yet the words are so meaningful it blows my mind.
This book, for me it was a adventure of feelings and a roller coaster of happenings. Even if we only can get in to Johnny and his feelings I somehow feel Izzy too because how strong the description of Johnny's feelings are.

At first I both hated and loved the book but when I was finished; I love, love, love this book, though I'm emotionally wrecked.
