Book Recommendation

I would like like to recommend a series I enjoyed reading.
Author: Laura Kaye
Series:  Hard Ink
The link is to the first book in the series.

Trouble just walked into Nicholas Rixey’s tattoo parlor. Becca Merritt is warm, sexy, wholesome–pure temptation to a very jaded Nick. He’s left his military life behind to become co-owner of Hard Ink Tattoo, but Becca is his ex-commander’s daughter. Loyalty won’t let him turn her away. Lust has plenty to do with it too. With her brother presumed kidnapped, Becca needs Nick. She just wasn’t expecting to want him so much. As their investigation turns into all-out war with an organized crime ring, only Nick can protect her. And only Becca can heal the scars no one else sees. Desire is the easy part. Love is as hard as it gets. Good thing Nick is always up for a challenge…

This is the description of the first book.
All the books are full of hot scenes, sweetness, strong characters, action and a little fun. The author writes in an easy way that makes it good reads. the characters are well described and the stories are very good.
There are nine books in this series. i know it is sometimes difficult to find out reading order but if you follow the link above you will come to the authors page that shows reading order.

Review: What Remains

What Remains What Remains by Garrett Leigh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Publising date: July 2016
Publised by: Riptide Publishing

What a wonderful book. I love it!!!!!
The characters are described in a great way and the author have a writing style that´s easy to on my mind. The storyline is one of the best and in addition it is hot scenes, which I always enjoy. Jodi and Rupert are a sweet couple that faces challenges no one should ever have to face. The description on how Jodi´s loss of memory is affecting them both is heart wrecking.
This is one of those books I can disappear in and not come up for almost anything. I just have to give you a taste of my highlight:
"Perhaps it had been the power - the control it gave him over this beautiful man who Rupert felt so plain beside.......but Rupert did´t feel like that anymore. Had´t in years. Jodi had taught him to feel nothing but pleasure when they were laid bare to each other like this." This highlight says so much about this two characters in my opinion.
What Remains is lovable!

Show Me Baby

Published by: Evil Eye concepts, Inc
Ebook released: August 12, 2014
Book 9 in Masters of the Shadowlands

Jake and Rainie are one of the shortest stories but I cried and laughed with them more then any of the other couples. Cherise Sinclair has a way to write a story right in to your heart. You just can't help falling in love with her characters. Rainie is as sweet as can be and always trying get to help everyone and Jake have learned that he should always be strong. They have chemistry and have to work trough some challenges.
I especially likes that Rainie is what I would call a full figure girl, maby that is because I'm not a supermodel myself so I can relate to her issues.
The book is hot as always and I love it, I'm actually sad that I'm now starting on the last book in this series.
If you like reading series I recommend this one because you're not going to find any of the books not worth reading.
Happy read!

Sutphin Boulevard

Published by: Dreamspinner press
First edition July 2015
1 of 3 books in a series: Five Boroughs

The perfect not so perfect story
I'm overwhelmed by this story. It's beautiful in its sad way. I've only read one book before from this author and that was a good one in cooperation with another author. This book has a great story and the characters are living on their own thanks to Hassell.
His writing style is just up my alley, easy and interesting it keeps me on the edge all the time. I like that the characters have flaws as we all do in real life.
Michael and a Nunzio story is about two friends who are very close and how their relationship develops when tragedy hits for one of them.
This story is not fake in any way and it's safe to say I got lost in this book. Santino Hassell you are now one of my favourite writers. I'm definitely going to read the next and the next and.......yeah you know!

I've never thought I was going to read a M/M romance but actually I read my first because I was curious and it turns out I love reading them. But of course all of them are not great as with all other genre.

Author recommendations

I was thinking I could tell why some authors are my favourites. The first author on my list is
Tessa Bailey who is a fantastic author. And this is why:
She has a filthy mind that comes trough in her books, and I mean that in a good way.
She writes characters in a way that makes them come alive in the books.
She makes the reader feel like you're in the book while you read it.
She writes in a style that makes it easy to read, right to the point and....
She writes books that are hot, hot, hot.........
My favourite book of her is this one:

This is the first book in a series but it can be read as a standalone. I can promise you if you like this book you will want to read the others too.
The Line of Duty series is one of the best, but all of her books are good so if you're looking for good, hot, easy reading this is the number one choice.
You can buy her books and read about her on Amazone
in addition to her author page in the link above.

If only

Book 8 in Masters of the Shadowlands series
Published by: Loose Id

She has all my respect, I've never thought she could write better then the last one I read but boy was I wrong. This book takes so many different and unsuspecting ways that it never gets boring. The characters are as always described in a way that makes me see, smell and feel them.
This is what a book is suppose to give me when I read.
The storyline is great and her writing style makes it easy to read as always. I love that she incorporate the characters from the other books in every book.
If you haven't read any The Masters of Shadowlands books now is the time to do so.

I love a little ménage and to hot guys showing love and possessiveness is my kind of story.

To Seduce a SEAL

Book 3 in Sin city SEAL series
Published by: Entangled Publishing
Release date: May 2, 2016

This is a hot book!
It's part of a series but can easily be read as a standalone. I haven't read the other ones but now I would like to read them. Chrissie is a country star and Dante her bodyguard. The storyline is good, the characters isn't described with the same colourfulness I like with other books but I can live with that. The author writes in an easy style so it's a good read. I'm a person who likes to feel like I'm "living" in the book when I read. If I feel that I give it five stars, but this book get four and it's that little thing missing. But I absolutely would recommend this book as a light read.
If you like to read from the beginning of the series you can go to one of the links above and find them.
Happy read!

All the wrong places

My third ARC in a short time and I still have one waiting. I love this!
This book is NOT hot, but it's sweet!
I've never known what Asexual meant although I've heard the word and assumed it meant a person isn't interested in anything emotional attachment. This book explains what asexual is in a great way.
The story is not the greatest, I feel like it's going forward and then it sort of stops after a few chapters. But the writing style is making it easy to read.
The characters are okay but I like when an author describes the characters with more passion. And I personally like books with more action (sex) in them. But I knew this book didn't have it so I went in with an open mind.
So if you like a sweet, educational book about asexual couple this is the one for you.

Now I'm going on to the next book and if I'm not mistaken it's going to be hot 🔥

Living right

From time to time I read not so hot books. I received an ARC from NetGalley; Living right by Laila Ibrahim
This book made me want to read the bible and I'm not a active Cristian.
I don't get a good feeling of the characters, it's like they're a blurry movie and that's to bad because this is a very strong story. This a book about a family of five that's Cristian and lives a "decent" life. Mom is staying home to take care of the kids and now the kids are grown up and teenagers. There's 3 kids and their only son try's to take his own life and their life changes drastically. The challenges he's   facing is that he thinks he's gay.
Jenn, the mother is struggling with her faith in God and feels like a failure as a mother. There is a lot of references from the bible and that made me wish I have read more of the bible to get the context. I've read books about gay people but it's always been from the gay person point of view, and it was interesting and heartbreaking to read it from a mother's point of view.
The storyline is good and the writing style makes it easy to read. I enjoyed reading this book although I did feel a little disconnected to the characters as mentioned before.
I would say that this book is very relevant if you as a parent is struggling with accepting your children's or other relatives sexual preferences. I would also recommend it to people curious to why some have hard times accepting lesbian and gay people.

Simply said: I recommend this book!

Masters of the Shadowlands

I'm totally hooked on Masters of the Shadowlands so here is a review of the 7th book. I buy most of my books on Amazon.com so my review is a copy of the one I wrote there.

How does she do it. This book gave me so much, I laughed, cried, got excited and scared.
And it was delightful. Sam and Linda story is about a woman who's been a slave and was
freed by police and Sam. She is ashamed of wanting pain and struggle with societies
view off m/s and Sam tries too help her but also got he's own issues. The journey for
them are wonderful and scary described, well done Cherise👏🏻
This is book seven in a series of BDMS series and I recommend reading them in order
because that makes it easier to follow the characters.
Enjoy while I go for the next book.

The one thing I loved about this book was that the two main characters were grown up
people with a background and kids. Most of today's books are about young people.

I hope you will enjoy this books as much as I do and now I dive in to the next one.

His to protect

The ARC I was reading was a easy read so here is my review that I left on Net galley.

I've not read any books from this author before so I was a little excited to read
this book. The storyline is good and the characters are good. I enjoyed reading
because it's easy to read the way she writes. I would read more of her books.
Since this is book two in a series I'd like to read number one and probably the
rest when it comes out. As I said it was a easy read but the reason the book
isn't getting five stars is that I don't "feel" the characters the same way I do
with some books. But this book is worth reading anyway. The storyline is a
women that is on the run from a husband that hits her and she meets a man
who takes her in and helps her. Quite cliche but nice story.

So if you are looking for a light reading this is the book for you. It's not a BDMS story and the sex scenes are pretty vanilla although the hero is a little possessive.
I have so many unread books on my kindle that I don't know where to start now, but for a crazy reader like me I'm going to find something 😜

Getting started

My first book review........on my blog that is.
Just finished reading this book by an awesome author Cherise Sinclair
I've read the five first books in this series Masters of the Shadowlands, there are ten books so fare I think 🙄
This book is the sixth and I swear they get better and better book by book. The storyline is great in this book and the characters feels like they come alive. It's about submissive women getting kidnapped and sold as slaves and how Raoul and Kimberly helps FBI to break the ring of people making this crime. It's thrilling and hot. I'm seriously reading the rest of the books.

This is books in the BDMS genre so if you're not comfortable reading about this you should stay clear. But if you like it I guarantee you will love this. I know there is a lot of discussions on books in this genre doesn't show how the real life of BDMS is, but when I read these books I dive in with a mind set to read a good story not how it relates to real life. Keep an open mind in other words.

And the covers of the books is also very tasteful.

I hope this review was helpful and I'm now in the process of reading an ARC from the author

The book is called "His to protect" I will be back with a review as soon as I finish. I've never read anything from this author so I am excited 🤗
