Review: Ray of Light

Ray of Light Ray of Light by E.L. Todd
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Publishing date: January 3th 2017

*I was gifted this ARC from the author and are freely giving my review of it*

Rae is having a one night stand with her brothers friend Ryker even though she know he's a man whore but she has no expectations. But Ryker seems to have some expectations of his own.....

I love this story and I can't wait for the next.

It was a sadness to this story that got to me, Ryker started with being not a very nice guy but somehow along the story I began to feel sorry for him. He wants to have a relationship with Rae but have zero experience in the relationship department. Rae is something special, she don't let anyone stomp on her and she guards her heart having big walls up around it. I can see how those two people will have a lot of work to do in maintaining their relationship.

Todd has a writing style that is easygoing and with just the right amount of dialogues so I can't stop reading. The characters are very well described with enough emotions to make me feel them in my soul. I'm feeling so I get lost in the story, and OMG do I love when that happens.

I especially liked the little secondary stories going on with the other characters....Rex has to get his brain in gear.....I say no more so I don't spoil it, but I instead recommend you read it.

Good 5 stars.

Review: Clash: A Legal Affairs Story

Clash: A Legal Affairs Story Clash: A Legal Affairs Story by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The beginning

This story was way to short but then it's just the beginning... I loved it but oh...it's a cliffhanger so now I have to read the next book because this author always has me hooked from first chapter.
It was fun, hot and interesting as always....
Perfect amount of dialogues which always makes me happy, characters that are described with feelings and makes me see them in my mind.
I especially like that the female character isn't a damsel in distress but a women with enough self esteem to not be all over the guy.
The storyline is a little diffuse at the moment but it will probably be clearer in next book.

Review: Calling the Play

Calling the Play Calling the Play by Samantha Kane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Oh yes

I loved sassy Randi and sweet commanding Brian. Ty didn't stand a chance. This story was sweet, hot and complicated, it's book two in the Birmingham Rebels series and it's a plus if you have read the first one but not a must.
The writing style is easygoing and fun and the characters are well written although in my opinion they could be more "colourful" described. In some ways I felt that I got to know the characters well, in other ways not.
The storyline is good and I like ménage stories although I sometimes wish the story could centre more around the dynamics of the relationship in the everyday life. That's just my hopes for the people in the stories surfacing.
There are some really hot scenes in this story as in the first book so be warned it's adult content.
Well, I'm continuing reading the next book.

Review: Campaigning for Christopher

Campaigning for Christopher Campaigning for Christopher by Katy Regnery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Intriguing story

(Audiobook)
I liked this book the best of all the Winslow brothers stories because I loved the storyline with enemies becoming lovers.
Julienne is mislead to believe Christopher is a bad guy running for office and takes action to smear his reputation. As soon as she realised her mistake she offers to make it up to him by being his fake girlfriend, but can he go trough with it when he hate her, or do he really hate her?

I liked the dynamic between the two characters and found that it was well written in my opinion. This authors stories always contains a lot of feelings and this story is no different, it's packed with feelings. So bring your handkerchief, the tears will flow at some point.

There were two things keeping it from being full pot, the voice again; it's not the most comfortable listening to but not enough bothering to drop the book. The second thing is that we never got to know who "black hat" was and nail him. But this is my personal wishes, for others it can be enough as it is.

I liked this series, even though I haven't read the stories about the English brothers beforehand it was no problem. Maybe I will read them now.

Review: Holiday Heat

Holiday Heat Holiday Heat by Celia Aaron
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

CHRISTMAS ANGEL by Opal Carew writing as Amber Carew
I loved this fairytale like story, it was sweet and had some really good hot scenes. Ms Carew is good at writing hot scenes.
Her characters are coming alive and the story has a lot of dialogues so it's easy to read.
Good 5 star short story.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING FOR A BILLIONAIRE by Julia Kent
This was a hilarious story with lots of Christmas action. The story also has a good amount of dialogues and was easy to read.
The author did get room for one hot scene in good Christmas spirit; Santa and naughty elf.
4,5 naughty stars.

HOT FOR SANTA by Cathryn Fox
Oh, sweet baby Jesus what a naughty story......... I loved it!!!!!!!
Great writing style, not to much unnecessary described surroundings and lots of dialogues. A little slow in the beginning but stick around and you won't regret it. The ending was a glorious naughty one.
But it was also sweet as sugar so I give it 5 naughty and sweet stars

THE LADY AND THE DRAGON'S HOLIDAY by Mandy Rosko
I didn't read this one because it's not my cup of tea.......

TWO "HAPPY HOLIDAY" SHORTS by Mari Carr
This was two hot short stories that was well written with no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and enough dialogues to hold my interest.
I think I'm going to have to read more from this author.
Good 5 star read

ALL HE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS EVE by Ruby Carew
Carew can always get me in the mood and this time in Christmas mood with bells and all.
Friends to lovers are sweet and hot and Carew makes the most beautiful love scenes, I can practically picture it in my head. Plain and simple storytelling with adult contents, just as I like it.
5 red hot stars(with bells on)

A STEPBROTHER FOR CHRISTMAS, THE HARD AND DIRTY HOLIDAYS by Celia Aaron
A new author for me *jumping up and down with joy* and this is a 5 star story. Some of the hottest I've read.
The writing style is my favourite, easygoing, a good amount of dialogues, and no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings......YES!!!!!
Good described characters and the storyline was also good for a short story.
I'm on Amazon next to find more from this author.
Recommend if you like a hot short story of good quality.

HOLIDAY FANTASY by Yvette Hines
I liked that the subject of BDSM was explained in a good way in this story even for a short story.
What I didn't like about this story was that the each dom and sub had nicknames, it was confusing and why???????? For me it made the whole thing seem unrealistic.
The writing style is easy and straight forward, a joy to read. The love scenes was hot and well described.
I'm sad to give this a weak 4 stars but the whole nickname thing ruined my experience of the story.

COWBOY JACKPOT: Christmas Cowboy Jackpot Series, Book 1 by Randi Alexander
This was a good story but I didn't feel like I got to know the characters, it lacked descriptions of the feelings that makes me all soft hearted and ohhh-ing.
Still, the writing style is great, easy and with enough dialogues to not make it boring. No unnecessary description of surroundings is also positive.
The storyline was weak and a little messy so all in all it was a questionable 4 star read.

STRANDED FOR CHRISTMAS by N Kuhn
This was as sweet as it can be, I actually loved it even if it had no especially erotic scenes in it (which I usually read)
The storyline was good, the characters well described and the writing style easygoing and light. Good amount of dialogues made it interesting.
It could have had more feelings and it felt a little naive and cliche at times so I give it 4 stars.

To sum it up I think it's a good 4 star read almost to 5 but not quite.

Review: Broken Play

Broken Play Broken Play by Samantha Kane
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My goodness

What a book......... I don't know where to begin but one thing is clear; I love this book!
Marian is wanted by both Beau and Cass, but something is haunting her from her past. Will they overcome it to be together?

The storyline was good and the characters was well described and lots of feelings.
I love the writing style and that the author takes up a subject that is a serious challenge. It's a story about what sacrifices a person can do to save others and what cruel actions people can get away with.
But it's also a story about love and acceptance of our desires; as long as they don't hurt others in any way it's all "normal" (I don't like the word because it's stigmatising)Love is love!

Here you got it all, boy love girl, girl love two boys, boy love boy, etc.....
So be aware: it's love in many forms and adult content.
I initially started to read this because I received a ARC of a new book in this series but now I have to read the other books before I read the ARC.
Good 5 star read.

Review: Crazy about Cameron

Crazy about Cameron Crazy about Cameron by Katy Regnery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lovely hero

(Audiobook)
Cameron and Maggie has been in love with each other since they where children and finally they're connecting again. It's not all roses and hearts but they believe in a new start.
I loved this story but again the reader made it a little uncomfortable at times with her high pitching voice.
The storyline was good and the characters are well written, described with a lot of feelings.
There are not any unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and the right amount of dialogues which pleases me.
I love the authors descriptions of Cameron's insecurities regarding if Maggie feels the same as him. All the love he feels after longing for her for years comes through very good in the way the author described it. His heart is really invested.
Good, good, good 4+ star read!

Review: Proposing to Preston: The Winslow Brothers #2

Proposing to Preston: The Winslow Brothers #2 Proposing to Preston: The Winslow Brothers #2 by Katy Regnery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Feelings all over

Elise is an actress in her beginning of her career when she meets Preston. They have a whirlwind romance but what happens when she's offered a opportunity of a lifetime......

I liked the first book but I LOVED this one. So full of emotions and the descriptions of the characters feelings was lovely. This book made me cry and that's a good sign actually, because that means the author reached my heart. The writing style is a little too "sweet" at times but overall it's good.

I have this stories in audiobooks so even though I didn't mention it in my review of the first book this time I have to say it: the voice reading is a little high pitch some times which makes listening a little hard. But I got through it and I can always switch to reading if it's to much. So because of that I give it 5 weak stars

Review: Emerald Island

Emerald Island Emerald Island by Fiona Blake
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

*I was gifted this ARC from the author and are freely giving my review of it*

This was a 3 star read for me, but it has a lot of potential to be so much more with a
storyline that is very good.
The flow in the story is not there, it feels a little staccato, like the author doesn't have full control over her story. Having in mind that this is a new author I will say it's a decent start.

I liked the characters but they could have been described more vivid to make me picture them in my mind. I really didn't get to know them. I know I often say I don't like unnecessary descriptions but there was lacking descriptions all around and for me that's a big NO.......

The scenes in this story that was supposed to be hot didn't make it to more than lukewarm, the lack of described feeling is the thing that's not making it hot. It was potential in the beginning of one of the scenes but it fizzled out. I need more feelings to be able to really say I was lost in the story.

I have to get in to the head of the characters to FEEL the story, and that didn't happen.

However the story did have enough dialogues to hold my interest and that's a big star in my book.

I feel like I only said negative things about this book but I did find it intriguing to read because I could see the potential throughout the whole story. I was actually sad to have to give it only 3 stars, but I'm nothing if not honest in my reviews.
And truthfully (again), this is just my opinion and for others it can be another sort of experience to read this story.

Review: Garrett

Garrett Garrett by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Passion and compassion

Garrett wants more than one night with Olivia despite his reputation of being a one night stand man. Olivia, however have a secret and wants to enjoy one night with a hot man in her bed and nothing more.

Once again Bennett has made me cry and laugh and disappear inside her excellent storytelling. In the beginning it was a little slow in the build up but it soon took over my soul and heart.

I love Garrett and Olivia, and the last 3-4 pages was so adorable...........no spoilers here.

If you want to read a book about love, loss and strong characters with passion and compassion this is a great book. The hot love scenes don't make it less interesting;-)

Review: Alex

Alex Alex by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Heartbreaker Alex

Alex hate hockey and he doesn't give a damn about anything, but he is the MVP on his team. The suits upstairs, as the coach calls them is not happy with his attitude and he's forced to cooperate with Sutton in building a anti-drug-abuse campaign and be their spokesman. The chemistry between them are instantly affecting them.........

I loved this book and I almost always do with Bennett's books, they are full of emotions and I feel like they are written with a lot of love and care. The characters are described with so much feelings and in such a colourful way that I clearly see them in my mind.

The writing style is as excellent as always, easy to read and no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings. And dialogues......yes!!!!

The storyline is good, two people with a lot of baggage after a rough childhood, one of them has worked through it and one is just ignoring it. The understanding Sutton is showing Alex when he struggles to find his way is remarkable and that makes me feel a little unsettled but this is fiction so I choose to see it as it is and enjoy it.

When a book makes me cry and laugh and occasionally hot and bothered *blushing* it's a great 5 star read.

This is the first book in a series but it's a HEA so don't fear...... I initially started to read this one because I've received an ARC of the last book in this series and I love this author so I thought I should try to read the first books before I jump to the last. I don't regret that decision but my credit card might be......... Consider me gone the next week or so:-)

Snowed In: Snowed In: by Lila Monroe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Funny hot

I liked this story, it was fun and hot. And short, but that's okay because sometimes it's enough with a short story.

I really like the writing style of this author and all the fun that's mixed in there is making this book enjoyable.

The characters are a little lacking of feelings in my opinion but that must not stop you from reading. I'm a person that likes my books to have so much feelings in them that they almost goes up in smoke.

One thing is a plus.....no make that two things; no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and enough dialogues:-)

I laughed, smiled and had some small sad moments reading this book so it's a 4 star read.

Wonderful conclusion

I'm surprised and at the same time I'm not. It had to be this......
What I loved most about this series of books is that I'm surprised at every corner, the author has truly made something unique and out of the ordinary.

The feeling of love between Hannah and Conrad is almost touchable, it shines through the whole series.

At first I didn't know if I liked the series very much when I read the first book but I know this authors work so I stumbled through and now I'm happy I did.

Very good work, I think this will linger in me a while and I like that.......

Confusing

This was the darkest book by now, but there is more to come I suspect.....

I think the connection between Hannah and Conrad is unique and I want clarification of what it is...... But can the connection between two people be clarified, can we know what makes this connection unique.....?
Is love always unique.........love is love but isn't love different from one relationship to another relationship......

Omg, these books makes me think a lot.......and I love that, even though I'm confused.

What now.....?

I'm starting to feel that there will be a epiphany in the end of this series......but who knows?
In the beginning I was annoyed because it was all so diffusing but it's like a slow revaluation of the essence in this series.
I love how the author keeps me on the edge all the time.
Hannah is now coming to a conclusion that was hitting me in the beginning of this book.
It's hard to write a review of this series because I'm afraid to give away to much, the best I can do is advice you to read.
The feelings in this books is sometimes to much and at the same time not enough, I don't know how else to describe it. But I know this series is going to do something to me, don't know what but I'm going to the next book...........

Living in the moment

Wow, these books are dragging me in...... When I read the first I was a little bit disappointed because it wasn't this authors usual writing but now I feel so connected to the main character......
This story is insanely sensual and sizzling with lust and cravings.
I'm still a little confused about what this really is........but then I forget the whole "what is the meaning of this story?" and live in the moment with the characters.
If you can manage to read the first book and see past all the questions that probably leaves you with, this can be a wonderful, black, sinful journey.
The destination isn't the most important but the adventures on the way to it is...........

Confused?

Well, I can't say I got more enlightened but I enjoyed the story very much.
The love scenes are as always full of sizzling heat and emotions and it's like a movie in my head the perfect way it's described.
Normally I would say something about the characters and if I feel a connection to them or if I get to know them but this series is a puzzle to me...........
I think the women(main character) is the same all the time and the same goes for the male character because of the way they are described. I feel like there's some connection between the story that's revealed to me a little more in each story without me even knowing it.
Omg, I'm hooked......next book!!!!!!!

Clearer?

I thought I was going to feel that things got a little clearer after book two but no.......
Is it a dream?
Is she reliving her past life's?
Is it a TV show?
I don't know but I trust this author will lead us right, maybe the answer comes in the last book or maybe she just wants us to live in the moment with the characters.

Review: Shane and Trey

Shane and Trey Shane and Trey by Anyta Sunday
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Twisted families

Shane is roommate with his sisters boyfriend Trey, but he's having trouble seeing him as just a roommate. He wants more but how can he betray his sister and Trey is not gay, is he????

I loved this story, it was a lot of feelings and every character had issues that gripped your heart and squeezed it.

The writing style is good with lots of dialogues but also some internal dialogues that made the story even sweeter. I loved when Shane really reflected on a friends problem and came to a conclusion that seemed rather good and mature.

The relationship between Shane and Trey grows slowly(don't tell me you didn't understand there would be a relationship, it's not a spoiler) and I thought it was sweet in the build up.

This is a story about how we all have a little broken childhood, som more then others but we have to work to get past them and friends can help you open up and see things a different way.

It's not the last book I read from this author.

Wind River Rancher Wind River Rancher by Lindsay McKenna
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Publishing date: December 27th

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

Shay owns a ranch and hires only veterans as help, one day Reese comes to the ranch. Shay and Reese feels a immediate connection but they both have emotional scars from their time in the military, can they find together despite their challenges?

I liked this story very much, the description of Shay and Reese's connection is so vibrant and full of feelings. The build up is very slow and sometimes I get frustrated but when the story ends I feel like this was like it should be.

The writing style take some getting used to but I've read the first book in this series and liked that too so I've experienced the style before. I really like to read the rest of the series as it comes out.

The story has enough dialogues to hold my attention and not get bored, and there are not an overwhelming amount of descriptions of the surroundings, just enough to give me a picture of it using my imagination.

The subject of the book is veterans with PTSD in addition to the love story, and I think it's a important subject which the author seems to have some knowledge about. I feel for those scarred souls who has fought to keep our world safe.

I recommend this book if you're interested in a sweet love story with som important underlying issues. Good 4,5 star reed.

Review: The Current Between Us

The Current Between Us The Current Between Us by Kindle Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hot and sweet

Trent is a electrician that steps in on a job for Gage who is his dream reporter. Gage is opening a gallery and letting go of one career to start a new one. Trent have adopted his sister two kids and tries to keep his romantic life from his personal and career life. Gage changes everything and will he succeed in making his way in to Trent's life?
I love this story, it was full of feelings and made me cry and laugh.
The writing style is excellent, easy to read and no unnecessary described surroundings. There is a good amount of dialogues which really holds my interest.
At times I thought Gage was a little intense but that's okay because it's a story, and when the characters are written in a way that gets a reaction it means the description is good.
The love scenes was full of feelings and hotness, this author knows how to write love scenes. They are not so dirty that they get disgusting but not so tame that they get boring.
I also like the way the author wrote the interaction with the kids in the story, the kids was treated like humans with minds of their own.
Obviously I love this book!!!!

Love Me at Midnight Love Me at Midnight by Linda Morris

YOURS AT MIDNIGHT by Robin Bielman
Lyric has a secret she's keeping from her family and her childhood friend Quinn. She have not seen Quinn for years and she is afraid neither he or her family will ever forgive her for keeping this secret.....

This was a slow build up romance and I liked it, it was sweet but also hot.
The writing style is easy and had enough dialogues in my opinion.

The characters was well written and the story had a lot of feelings, I actually cried a bit in the end. I liked that the author managed to get the feelings inside the characters come very much to the surface in the story.

Very sweet 4 star read.

MELTING THE MILLIONAIRE'S HEART by Linda Morris
Special needs teacher Kayla is supposed to attend a party to suck up to a billionaire who may or may not be donating to the school she works at. She is instead stranded in a storm on a lonely road. A hot guy picks her up and takes her home, but is he who he says he is.........

I liked this sweet and hot romance, it had the ingredients of a good story; billionaire rescue the "girl next door" and sweet music is made.

The writing style is to my liking, easy and no unnecessary described surroundings, and lots of dialogues....... What's not to like?

The characters are well described but it lacked a bit in the feelings department in my opinion, I didn't get all mushy and soft inside but it was good.

A little unstable 4 stars

ONE NIGHT IN VEGAS by C.M. Stone
Eliza has a crush on her brothers friend Chris and is spending New Year's Eve with him when her brother cancelled their evening.

This was a short story with not much content but it was some sweet scenes so in my conclusion it's a sweet short story but a little boring.

A 3 star read.

All in all this bundle was a weak 4 stars.

OMG

This is a book that will always stay with me, beautiful and destroying. I bought the visper sync version and listened to it by the pool on vacation. Tears streaming but I couldn't stop listening.
The story of Summer and Cooper is a philosophical journey that makes you reflect on life, death and most of all on love......

We all deserve love and the world would be so much better if we could see the love in each other.

That's only my opinion and you may take something else from this book, but most importantly you have to read this book.
If you only wants to read ONE book this should be it!!!!!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

*I was gifted this ARC and are freely giving my review of it*

This was a sweet Christmas bundle. The first and the last story was the best, they were 4 star material, the middle story lacked substance in my opinion so it's only 3 stars from my point of view. Seeing them together I think 4 stars would be fair for this bundle.

The writing style in all the stories was easy and had no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings. Lots of dialogues made me very happy.

The characters was well written. The first and the last story made me feel more, happiness, sadness, joy........the middle one not quite so much.

The love scenes was absolutely best in the first story, a little hotness without being to roughly for the holiday spirit:-)

If you like sweet stories with a little hotness this is a good choice and worth the money. Happy holidays!

Orlando finally asks "hot coffee guy" Geoff out on a date, but then a unexpected baby happens to land on his doorstep. How will this affect their beginning, will there be a beginning, will there be a happily ever after?

I love surprise baby stories, and this was a good one. Of course when you start reading a story like this you know it's a little predictable but that's okay.

The writing style is easy and to the point, not some over explained story with unnecessary words to come to the point. It has a perfect amount of dialogues and I love that.

The story is nicely build up and the characters are well described. There are lots of feelings and the author makes the characters come alive with her writing style.

I could relate to the issues Orlando is having with anxiety and depression so it was easy for me to understand he's thoughts. Geoff sounded a little self sacrificing in the beginning but he grew on me.

This is a sweet little Christmas story well worth the read.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

This was a sweet story and I liked it but it felt like it didn't have enough substance to be a five star read so I go for four stars.

Kunal is closeted and works at his parents restaurant with his siblings. Oscar owns a sex shop and likes to get to know Kunal. He invites him to go bowling with him and his friends.

I think the storyline was good, and the writing style is easy and have enough dialogues to make it hold my interest.
The characters are lacking some description in my opinion because I don't get the feeling of knowing them well enough.

What I did absolutely love in this story is the little bits of poetry Oscar makes for Kunal, I absolutely adore it!!!!

My conclusion is that even though this is not my favourite it's not a waste of time if you like a sweet story with a HEA!

Review: Stone Brothers Complete Series

Stone Brothers Complete Series Stone Brothers Complete Series by Tess Oliver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A good read

The writing style is easy to read just like I prefer it. The story is good. The Stone brothers had a rough childhood but are good guys. Colton, Hunter and Slade are the girls in the towns hot dream but they never commit to anyone.
In each book one of them find love until they all are in relationships. The road there is sweet, fun, action filled. The characters lacks describing in my opinion and I don't get the feeling I need to give top score, but it's a good 4 star read.

Review: The Farther He Runs

The Farther He Runs The Farther He Runs by Lynda Aicher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Publishing date: December 6th

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

This is the third book in the Kick series and I haven't read the previous books but this can easily be read as a standalone.

Finn was injured in an accident that killed his friend Chris and now their friend Tanner is visiting to say goodbye to their mutual friend. The three friend has served in the military together and have a close bound.

In many ways I find the writing chaotic in the beginning but after a while I got used to it and it grew on me. It's leaving me with a lot feelings and the honest description of the characters are very liberating to read.

I can sense the feelings between Finn and Tanner from the beginning of the book and the building up to they acknowledge their love to each other is beautiful written.

The author is describing the challenges they have with family in a distended way but still you can understand all the troubles Finn goes trough because his family discarded him when he came out and how it eats at Tanner hiding his sexuality from his family.

I loved this book and I'm definitely going to read the others in this series.

Wrapped Together Wrapped Together by Annabeth Albert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

This story was so sweet and I couldn't stop reading. If I should make any remarks it must be that I thought the beginning was a little slow but I still really love this story.

This was a book about losing someone can make you afraid of making commitments to anyone until that someone special breaks the barrier.

The writing style is light and fun and have enough dialogues for me to like it a lot. I laughed at Sawyer's poetry tries goofy personality, and Hollis introvert personality made me feel like we where kindred spirits.

I feel like the author did a very good job at describing the characters in a way that made me feel like I knew them well by the end of the book.

The love scenes was intense and filled with emotions, I could sense the love between the characters.

This is a book in a series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. I recommend this book to anyone who like a sweet, hot and fun m/m romance. I'm definitely reading more from this author. 5 golden stars!

Review: Dom X - The Complete Box Set

Dom X - The Complete Box Set Dom X - The Complete Box Set by M.S. Parker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Heartbreaking and sweet

X is a hero and get injured when saving a boy and a man from a fire. In the hospital he meets Nori that's a nurse.
The story is good and the characters are well written. I like the authors writing style but it's lacking something to say I LOVE it. However this book was great and I had problems leaving it alone. The road for X and Nori is rocky but in the end they get there.
This is obviously a recommendation if you like heroes, light D/S relationships and happy endings.

Review: Protecting What's His

Protecting What's His Protecting What's His by Tessa Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my first Tessa Bailey book and I instantly fell in love with Derek and Ginger and also the author;-) I've since read every one of Tessa's books and like them all, some more then others. This book will forever be one of my favourites, and this is the third time I read it, I also bought the audiobook so I could listen to it and I liked the voice very much.

Derek is so sweet, protective and jealous and this is instantly love between two people. Ginger is so tough on the outside but she need what Derek can give her; safety and love.

The storyline is good and the characters are well described with lots of feelings. All the filthy talk is Tessa's signature, she is the queen of filthy talk in my opinion. Maybe that's one of the reasons I like her books so much.

Derek and Ginger are on my repeat read list forever!

Review: Wicked Need

Wicked Need Wicked Need by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another hit

Cat has been coming to the silo with her very much older husband to enjoy having other men because her husband is not able to help her. That's what everyone think including Rand who has a soft spot for her. But the truth is ugly and Rand is a knight in shining armour.
I liked this story very much and I'm now truly addicted to this series.

The writing style is great, easy to read but still makes me be dragged in to the story and feel so much.
I laughed, cried and got excited for many reasons. The characters are well described and there is a good amount of dialogues which makes me like it even more.

The thing that really hits me is how much I enjoy all the filthy talking characters, at fist I felt a little shocked but it suits the story and now I can't imagine this books without the rough language.

This story still have some more serious thoughts to it, how can a person who's going trough life feeling used and sacrificed ever manage to have self respect and feel worthy? I feel utterly sorry for Cat and cheers for Rand to reach through to her.

What I also like is that all the books CAN be read as a standalone but it's probably even better read in order.

Review: The Harder He Falls

The Harder He Falls The Harder He Falls by Lynda Aicher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Great story

Grady and Micha's story is the first in this series but I read it in wrong order so I've already read the two other books.
Grady is struggling with his concise after a rafting accident that kills one man and leaves his cousin in a coma. He meats Micha at the hospital visiting his cousin and he doesn't know Micha has his own struggles.

I love, love, love this series, it's one of the best M/M romance series I've read. And this book doesn't let me down at all.

The writing style is easy to follow and there are enough dialogues to make it interesting and never boring. The characters are well described and makes me get to know them.

I think the build up in the book was very good, not to much suspense but it still makes me want a little more and I turn the pages even if I'm so tired I almost can't keep my eyes open.

Two souls in denial and struggling to accept their situation comes together and makes a connection that's beautiful described.

Wound Tight Wound Tight by Tessa Bailey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

Renner is working hard running his business and has no time for love. Milo is his security guard and even though Renner thinks he's straight he can't help wanting the guy. Things heat up even more when Milo reach out for help from Renner to approach a guy he thinks he has a crush on. Will Renner help our will the fire within him destroy them both?

The first book with M/M romance from this author and I have a lot to say about it. First of all it couldn't have been released at a better time. Second; why haven't you done this before Tessa Bailey? Third, I read a lot of M/M romance and she can compete with any of the best authors of this genre in my opinion as a reader.

It was fucktastic(that should be a word), I loved every second of it because it was sizzling from the first sentences. The banter between Renner and Milo is hilarious and I laughed out loud sometimes, but it was hot as hell even when it was fun.

I loved that Renner took charge and Milo discovered that he really enjoyed that and even craved it. Milo's need to take care of Renner is absolutely adorable and Renner wants to meet all of Milo's needs. Both men make new discoveries about themselves and learn to accept that life can take different turns and you have to adjust to the new path.

Renner need to protect himself from being hurt again in light of his earlier experiences. Milo is trying to discover this new side of himself and that takes courage, but he is a man whose glass is half full and he don't give up on himself or Renner.

The build up in this story was great and even if I tried to guess what comes next in the story the surprises kept coming.

It's no news that I addicted to this author and I enjoy her writing style. She IS the queen of words and she's making the characters come alive for me so I feel like I participate in their life's every step of the way. However, I'm always trying to be objective when I review a story so if it's not to my liking I will say it.
But this one is in my top then of M/M romances!!!!!!!!

This little snippet made me laugh so hard that I have to read it out loud to my friend that heard me laughing:

“I can see your feet beneath the door,” Renner called, and Milo mouthed a curse. “Actually, I’ve been out here listening to you abuse hangers and call the clock a bitch.”

Tessa Bailey produced a sizzling hot 5 star read, so queen of words keep writing M/M romances because I will be reading it. I'll even reduce myself to begging you to write more........

Review: Wrong for Me

Wrong for Me Wrong for Me by Jackie Ashenden
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Publishing date: November 29th

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*
Levi comes out of prison after eight years with a plan that includes Rachel, his former friend.
The story was full of emotions and the characters struggled with a lot of issues from earlier days.

This was a book that's easy to read because the author has a way of writing that gets the book flowing easy in my mind. I felt that this book had a deeper meaning than just what we can read on the surface. Both the characters had a childhood with challenges and that makes them more afraid of loss in life.

The way the author slowly closes in on the deeper meaning of the book is very good and makes me get to know the characters better.

The message I could get out of this book was that we all changes over years and our dreams and goals in life can also change.

I liked this book, not the best I've read but well worth the time I spent reading it.

WHAT??????

My first book from this author I don't know if I was enjoying.....the hotness level is big but I didn't feel a connection to the story.....was there a story? Anyway, I'm going to read the rest of the books and then maybe It will get more clear.

I usually love her books so I'm not giving up! I have faith in this author!

This is obviously not a standalone so be sure you have the other books before start reading.
The author made it a little easier to be able to afford all eight books since book 1,3,5 and 7 are free.

In a Ranger's Arms In a Ranger's Arms by Donna Michaels
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Publishing date: November 28th

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review.*

Oh, I loved this story, it was sweet, fun and oh so hot. I actually have nothing to complain about.

The writing style is great, light and easy and to the point, it also had a lot of dialogues which I happen to love. I absolutely fell in love with all the characters and I hope that there will be more books about these rangers.

This was also a story about people having each other's back in crisis and friends who never gives up on you.

I especially like Jovy and her sense of humour, it gave some good laughs. Stone with his slightly alpha male personality was hot and steamy.

If you like a sweet, fun and hot story with a little brush of serious subjects this is perfect. I love to read more from this author.

Review: Servicing the Target

Servicing the Target Servicing the Target by Cherise Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm crying

and not because the book was so sad but because the story ended.
And what a series, this book is just as good as any of the previous books. The lady knows how to write a good story with great characters.

Ben and Anne have their challenges, the process of changing things when you don't like changes is hard something both Ben and Anne is experiencing. The journey they take together and separately is exiting, fun, sad and very enlightening for them both. The chemistry between them is sparkling and I laughed and cried with them. Anne is trying so hard to be the hard mistress and Ben is trying to be what he thinks she wants him to be.

Some of the characters from previous books gets a little story within the story and that's a real treat. The writing style is excellent, easygoing and still dealing with some heavy topics managing to make it very, very readable.

Uzuri's story should be interesting.

Review: To Command and Collar

To Command and Collar To Command and Collar by Cherise Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a book......

5 shining stars with collars on! Master Raoul is magnificent and Kim is so sweet and brave.

Raoul and Kim story is very good and now I have it in audio to. When Raoul buys Kim at a slave auction to save her he never expected to have her for his own, but in preparation to meeting with the handler of the auction she has to pretend to be his slave. Will she manages that without breaking and will Raoul be the one to save her again?

This is the third time I read this book but this time I used audio and the voices made this a experience to remember. Sinclaire has developed her stories from the first book and in adding audio the feeling of being present in the story is overwhelming, I cried and laughed and felt anxiety and excitement alongside the characters.

The storyline and characters are getting better and better. The first couple of books where great entertainment but now I can't put the book away when I first start reading. And I love that she's involved the characters from her previous books.

I feel like every time I read Cherise Sinclair's books I think "omg, this is the best book ever" and then I read another........

The writing style is so easy and light but at the same time it grasp you in your heart and soul and you can't think other than what you experience in the pages of the story.

If you haven't read a Cherise Sinclair book and like BDMS and erotic books you have certainly missed out. I recommend you start with the first in this series and a fair warning; you want be able to stop!

Review: Dark Citadel

Dark Citadel Dark Citadel by Cherise Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Club Shadowlands series is one of my favourites and this is the second time reading but this time I'm leaving a review.

Kari is a sweet shy women coming to the club with her boyfriend who she doesn't have the right chemistry with. As a widower Dan has no interest in starting a relationship and is full of guilt after losing his wife. But what happens when they are put together in the training program for subs?

I loved this book and the only thing making it a weaker 5 star is that I thought Dan was described a little to cold, but that's only because I didn't want him to be........:-)

The writing style is as always excellent, to the point and no unnecessary chitchat, at times it was fun and most of the time it was hotter than the pavement on a hot summer day.

Kari and her insecurities made me sympathies with her and I recognised the issues, I laughed and cried with her and I wanted to kick Dan's ass at one point.

There are some very good scenes in this book and if you are a BDMS fan you will enjoy this story.

This time I bought the audiobook and I have to say the author picked an excellent voice.......

Hard Compromise Hard Compromise by Samanthe Beck

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*

Lauralie has fought her way up from a crappie childhood and has her own bakery. Booker is the town sheriff and comes from a more privileged upbringing. He wants Lauralie but she's not willing to be his. But then her bakery burn down and she needs hel. Booker offers her money to pretend to be his girlfriend, so this is his chance, but will he succeed?

This was a great story and I can't say anything about it bothered me. It was a good storyline and a writing style that's a joy to read. The characters are well described and it had a lot of feelings.

There were some really nice love scenes that were very well written and some scenes made me cry. This story held a lot of feelings and that's what I like about a book.

The story is about that choosing to love someone demands courage and that's not easy for a person not used to being loved.

Very good book!

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving my honest review.*
I liked this book very much and I like kinky stuff but there was one tiny little bit in this book that was a little over the top for me.

Alexander is a straight quarterback from a wealthy family, he is planning a future as a lawyer but what he really wants is to paint. He and his friends goes to a BDMS club and he gets challenged to participate in a scene with a mail Dom, Lincoln. To his amazement he enjoys it. But he denies he's gay.

This story is about breaking free from judgement and old patterns and show the world who you really are regardless of what other think.

The writing style is to my liking, easygoing and intens with a lot of feelings. The characters are well described and the storyline is good. The build up was great and I felt that the easygoing writing didn't make the more serious topic in the book seems less important.

I could read more from this author and I love to read Tank's story, a Dom in progress.

This book contains BDMS scenes and adult content.

Review: Justice for Mackenzie

Justice for Mackenzie Justice for Mackenzie by Susan Stoker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hearts in my eyes

This story had me sighing in contentment, laughing till I cried, gasping in horror and twisting in excitement. I absolutely f$#ing love it!!!!!

The writing style is light and fun and lots of dialogues which I can't say enough times that I like.

The characters was well written, Mackenzie was rambling on and Daxton was so calm and his voice rumbling. I think the author did excellent in getting me as a reader to see how this two people fit so well together.

The build up in the story was very well and I wasn't bored one minute through the story.

I love love love Dax's filthy mouth and Mack's sweetness. If you read this book you need tissues because oh my god how I sobbed in the end.

This is the first book in a series but can be read as a standalone, although I promise if you read this you'll want to read the next. Good luck ignoring that pull, I can't

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I'm freely giving a honest review.*

I liked this story very much, it was one of those easy reads that just makes time fly by. It was fun, sweet and hot.

Kayla and Cooper's story is about how you presume someone sees you in a certain way but your presumptions might be wrong. They both misread their parents meaning of them and takes wrong decisions for them self because of that.

The writing style was great and I always love a story with enough dialogues to not make it boring. The build up in the story was good and no cliffhanger is a bonus when I read a book.

I loved the easygoing dialogues between the two main characters, it made me chuckle.

There were a good amount of feelings coming through in this story, sweetness, sadness, happiness, love and caring for each other.

Great read if you want something easy to read with lots of feelings.
